Welcome to the Potlickers official site

This is the first official post for the Potlickers Mountain Bike Club site. This is where we can schedule rides, share riding experiences, post training tips, and keep the group in touch while building comraderie amongst the group that now numbers in the tens with members in Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Stony Plain, Edmonton, and Cold Lake.

This is also way cooler than anything the Warriors have.

  1. Kudos to Jay for setting up this great site. As we do more rides, have more fun, survive more races, and have Potlicker Lore will spread. Some of you may not know that there is a band (yes a musical one) among the PotLickers. Soon we will release our first original song and post it to this website. Stay tuned!

  2. Can someone confirm for me which direction to ride the Cox Hill and Jumpingpound Ridge trails in succession? Is it not south to north by riding Jumpingpound first? Are there trail signage maps along the trail?

    1. Yes, ride it South->North. Some trail signs but worth buying a Gem Trek map (if you don't already have one).

  3. Hello Potlickers! This year's Banded Peak Challenge needs your support more than ever. Taking place July 20th, with the bridge wash-out at Allen Bill a summit of Banded Peak won't be possible. We're scouting a new route to stage out of West Bragg up to Moose North summit. Spread the word to help make this a big year for Easter Seals Camp Horizon and Bragg Creek. www.bandedpeakchallenge.com
    Thank you,
    Anna Garcia
